ReplyDeleteI love your series. The cabin is looking great! I am wanting to homestead but I was thinking...instead of building a whole new house couldn't I buy some land with an older house that I can fix to meet my self sufficiency needs? I just feel like why should I waste building materials when the farming community I live in has lots of old farmhouses for sale all the time? Any thoughts you have would be a great help. :) Keep up the good work and the encouragement you give all.
